The Government has no intention whatever or contemplated selling its Mission located in the prime area of London.
Perhaps, GHANAWEB may, in future, consider verifying the authenticity of stories sent for posting on the net.
The Ghana High Commission wishes to re-assure Ghanaians that all properties of the Mission located at various places in London remain "Ghana Government properties."
The attention of the Information Services Department has been drawn to Ghanaweb’s reactions posted on the net on Wednesday, 19th November 2003, with regard to Ghana High Commission’s rejoinder to a story captioned “Chancery of the Ghana High Commission Has Not Been Sold”.
The purpose of this rejoinder is to set the records straight that the original news was published by the Ghana Palaver and was only reviewed by the Information Services Department in its Print Media Review segment.
