Atibie (E/R), June 7, GNA - The Chaplain of the Presbyterian University College (PUC), Rev. Ebenezer Yaw Blasu has called on the church's educational heads, to enforce the Presbyterian Educational policy of training the youth to use their head, hands and heart. This he said would expose them to the requisite knowledge they need to enhance discipline in the country.

He made the call when the National Union of Presbyterian Students of Ghana (NUPS-G) of the Abetifi campus of the PUC presented a number of items including bed sheets, blankets, morning coats, material for curtains, foley catheters, gauze, milk and loaves of bread to the children's ward of the Kwahu Government hospital as their contribution to assist the needy in the society.

Rev. Blasu advised the youth at the basic and other educational institutions to learn various trades to acquire the knowledge to be gainful employed and avoid immoral activities. The President of NUPS-G, Mr Joseph Manasseh Oppong said the academic facility had formed religious groups to educate the youth against immoral activities through songs and religious education. Receiving the items, the Medical Superintendent in charge of the hospital, Dr. Isaac Richard Osabutey thanked the students for the donation which he said would contribute towards the needs of children at the ward. 7 June 10
