Charles Owusu Juanah has firmly established himself as an influential and respected figure in Ghanaian politics, and this was evident at the recent Akwaaba summit held at the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) in Sunyani.

Addressing a group of TESCON members, he captivated his audience with his impassioned plea for unity and inclusiveness, urging them to actively campaign for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming elections.

Speaking on the theme "Fostering Togetherness and Inclusiveness to Break the Eight," he emphasized that it is imperative for Ghanaian youth to rally behind the NPP as the party is best equipped to lead Ghana towards a brighter future.

He drew attention to historical events, such as Jerry John Rawlings' imposition of curfews in 1982–1983 under PNDC rule, which had detrimental effects on Ghana's industries.

Furthermore, he highlighted how subsequent governments failed to protect state assets from corruption.

In contrast, Charles underscored how the NPP has implemented impactful social interventions that have positively impacted Ghanaians across all sectors.

From economic development initiatives to educational reforms such as free SHS, he made it clear that Dr. Bawumia's leadership should be commended and supported by TESCON members.

Drawing from his extensive knowledge of Ghanaian politics and unwavering commitment to progress, Charles Owusu Juanah's call for TESCON members' active involvement in campaigning for Dr. Bawumia was compelling.

Expressing concern over potential retrogression if the NDC were voted into power again due to their history of selling government assets built under previous administrations, he urged students not to take the general elections lightly.

He also expressed gratitude towards the current governance by parents whose children have benefited from the free SHS program initiated by the NPP government, emphasizing the need for continued support towards this positive trajectory rather than returning to the darker times witnessed previously.

It is clear that Charles Owusu Juanah possesses both an acute understanding of political intricacies and a gift for effective communication—qualities that render him an ideal leader within TESCON chapters nationwide.

As such, it seems imperative that the NPP entrust him with leading TESCON chapters across all tertiary institutions in Ghana moving forward, solidifying their message amongst youths, who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future political landscape through informed decision-making processes.
