Charlotte Osei is a 'wounded lion' – Ken Agyapong

Kennedy Agyapong, MP for Assin Central, has predicted ‘doom’ for the New Patriotic Party, NPP, after presumed 8 years in power by President Akufo-Addo.

The vociferous politician said on Oman FM on Thursday that, “Charlotte Osei is a wounded lion and there’s no way Akufo-Addo will win the heart of the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Mrs. Charlotte Osei.

“He can only escape second term but when it’s Bawumia’s time to contest for presidency; she will show you her true colours.”

He alleged that the EC boss will collapse the NPP because of hard feelings against the party and nothing Akufo-Addo will do will appease her.

The embattled Electoral Commissioner, Charlotte Osei and her two deputies, Amadu Sulley and Georgina Opoku-Amankwa, are being investigated for allegations of financial malfeasance.

A section of Ghanaians have petitioned President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to interdict the EC boss and her deputies.

The Chief Justice, Sophia Akuffo has empanelled a committee to look into the alleged abuse of power and corruption scandal that have rocked the EC.
