Sunyani, Aug. 20 - The Brong Ahafo Deputy Regional Director of Pharmaceutical Services, Mr Mustapha Dadzie, has warned chemical sellers to refrain from selling expired drugs. He said expired drugs pose a great danger to the health of the people, stressing that they should regard their profession as one that ''saves life rather than destroying it''. Mr Dadzie was speaking at a day's seminar for 80 members of the chemical sellers association from Sunyani, Berekum, Dormaa, and Jaman districts at Sunyani today. The seminar is sponsored by Mabea Health Services, a private pharmarceutical company at Sunyani. It was aimed at improving the dispensing knowledge of the participants. Mr Dadzie accused some of the chemical sellers of selling fake and uncustomed drugs and warned that a task force would soon be set up to check the culprits.
