Krobo (B/A), Jan. 13, GNA - Mr. Alex Kyeremeh, the Techiman Municipal Chief Executive, has appealed to the people to bury their political differences and rally behind the Assembly to accelerate development of the area. He said the municipality would lag behind in development if the people continued to allow partisan politics to divide them. Mr. Kyeremeh made the appeal at the golden jubilee celebration of the installation of Nana Kwasi Yeboah, chief of Krobo and Akwamuhene of Techiman Traditional Council at Krobo.

He appealed to traditional rulers to encourage school children to concentrate on their books to help improve the fallen standard of education in the area.

Mr. Kyeremeh said more than 350 students in second cycle institutions in the Krobo area gained scholarships during his tenure of office as the Member of Parliament for Techiman South between 2004 and 2008. Mr. Addai Simons, MP for Techiman South, who had also been installed as Sodohene of Krobo under the stool name Nana Otu Akasi Baa-Gyedu Kumanin, advised the people to unite and initiate projects.
