Chineyenwa okoro wins at 2015 Innovation in Sanitation Prize

Chineyenwa okoro Onu a representative of Enactus Radford won bronze prize at 2015 Innovation in Sanitation Prize organized by Cleanacwa.

The Innovation Prize is GHS 50,000 in cash prizes that are awarded to the 10 best impact pitches that are presented at the 2015 Cleanacwa Innovation in Sanitation Prize event.

All event registrants - students, professionals, and non-profit and for-profit organizations where eligible to apply for the Innovation Prize.

ENACTUS RADFORD is part of an international organization that mobilizes University students around the world to make a difference in their communities while developing the skills to become socially responsible business leaders.

The cleanacwa competition source for best ideas that will also be piloted in selected communities in Ghana and the results / outcomes shared among the WASH sector players, donors, academic researchers, and government.

The Innovation Prize in Sanitation intends to challenge all stakeholders especially the youth to come up with innovative ideas and strategies that could solve the urgent sanitation challenges within the next 10 years.

Cleanacwa strongly believes that bringing simple, affordable technologies, sustainable financing options, and well-coordinated programs among sector players will go a long to achieving the vision of universal access to clean water and sanitation to all people.

Bronze - GhC 5,000

People’s Choice Award - GhC 3,000

The Seven (7) Contestants - GhC 1,000 each that made it to the selection process but did not win
