Chris Asher, Adabuga Face Tsikata At NRC

News filtering in indicated that Chris Asher Jnr who stormed the National Reconciliation Commission (NRC) to make startling allegations against Rawlings and Tsikata in the murder of the Judges, will arrive in the country much-awaited cross-examination between them at the NRC.

When the NRC fixed a date for the cross-examination, the other time, Chris Asher was unable to make it, citing transport problems, as well as asking to be furnished with the actual title of the man he was supposed to cross-examine. On the other hand Daily Guide has learnt that Cpl. Adabuga has already arrived in the country to submit himself to cross-examination by either Tsikata or Rawlings, over the judges murder.

This week will, therefore, be another stormy ad grueling session for the National Reconciliation Commission (NRC), as it hears major testimonies in respect of the murder of the three High Court Judges and the retired army officer. The abduction and murder of the judges is a subject which has remained one of the most contentious in the country, in recent times.

Top on the list, this week, is the expected crossfire between Captain Kojo Tsikata (rtd) and Ex-Corporal, Matthew Adabuga and Lawyer Chris Asher. Also on the hot list is, Colonel R.D. Awudu (rtd), a one-time Chief Operations Officer at Gondar Barracks during the early days of the Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC), and a retired Captain Twum, both of who claim, they saw Captain Tsikata at Gondar Barracks and the Aflao border post in the first week of the 31st December coup, contrary to Captain Tsikata?s assertion that he was not present in the country until late January 1982.

Mr Chris Asher Jnr, stormed the NRC in August last year, form his London base, to give testimony about his encounter with Cpl Amedeka and other linked with the murder of the judges and the retired military officer.
