Christian heads should solve the problems of the society

Suhum (E/R), June 30, GNA - Apostle Julius Kwabla Senuvie, Vice President of the Apostolic Church=96Ghana, missionary heads to provide visionary leadership, by being innovative to offer solutions to the problems confronting the society, especially their congregation.

He said there was the need for the heads, to be proactive in soliciting funds and other sources to embark upon church projects and other social amenities not only to help alleviate poverty from the society, but also improve the living conditions of the people.

Apostle Senuvie was speaking at Suhum New Town in the Eastern Region at a special service during which Pastor Francis Teye Narh, 65, retires after five years active service as Head of the Suhum District 93B", with additional responsibility as the Head of the Suhum District 93A" in the Koforidua Area of the church.

He noted that the church's advancement was sometimes undermined by polarisation along 93non-Christian" lines.

Apostle Senuvie asked Ghanaians to eschew insults, disrespect for heads of churches and the political leadership, coupled with intolerance of divergent opinions, to help consolidate national stability.

The General Secretary of the Church, Apostle Abraham Ofori Kuragu, on behalf of the church's National Council presented to Pastor Narh a certificate and citation, in recognition of his meritorious and dedicated services to the mission.
