Kumasi, Feb 13, GNA - The Right Reverend Professor Emmanuel Asante, Bishop of Kumasi Dioceses of the Methodist Church of Ghana, has cautioned Christians to avoid greed, hypocrisy and hatred in order to have God's blessings and guidance. He also appealed to them to lead exemplary lifestyles and to intensify their evangelism to win more souls for Christ.

Rt. Rev. Asante was delivering the sermon at the 25th Anniversary celebration of the Ankaase Circuit of the Church, under the theme: "We'll praise Him for what is the past and trust for what's to come", at Ankaase in the Kwabre District of Ashanti. He urged the Church to adopt effective strategies to address poverty, ignorance, diseases and other challenges facing the flock. Rt. Rev. Asante said since the establishment of the Ankaase Circuit in 1983, it had undertaken viable development projects, including building of Faith Healing Hospital, a library at Ankaase and a model school at Hemang. He appealed to citizens of Ankaase to unite and contribute to the development of the town.

Mr Philip Tabiri, the Administrator of the Hospital, urged the people to register with the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), to enable them to have access to health care.
