J.K. Ansah, Koforidua Area Superintendent of the Apostolic Church-Ghana, has called on Christians to pray fervently to uproot corruption out from the country.

He said with the level of corruption in the country now, intensive prayers need to be said in addition to the numerous verbal and written attacks on the canker.

Merely saying corruption is high and must stop cannot end it, but fervent and effective prayers from the children of God can uproot the canker out of the system, he said.

Apostle Ansah was preaching to the Koforidua District congregation of the Church on Easter Sunday in commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

According to the Apostle, only God had the unlimited power to resurrect all that is dead in our lives here on earth.

He said only God had the power to make the current state of the economy move from bad to good if only his children will pray to Him.

Let us have faith in God because He alone can do and give us all that we need and seek, he added.

Apostle Ansah urged Christians to lives lifestyles professed by the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible.

He entreated them to shun bribery and corruption, fraud and stealing, as well as fornication and all other social vices so that they could remain pure to speak to the hearing of God.

The Apostle cautioned Christians to be wary of their actions on earth, reminding them that all, including non-Christians, shall resurrect in the end time and face judgment.
