Koforidua, April 10, GNA-Very Reverend Seth Yaw Amoako-Adu, Acting Dean of the Koforidua Saint (ST) Peter's Anglican Cathedral, has called on Christians to take care of their parents as they celebrate the Easter.

He regretted that some churches go to the extent of encouraging people to quarrel with their parents by falsely accusing them of being the cause of their distress and misfortunes. Very Rev. Amoako-Adu called on all those who had been misled to take such decisions to use the comforting message of Easter to unite with their parents and take care of them.

He said even on the cross, Jesus Christ cared and remembered his mother to the extent that he asked John to take care of her. Very Rev. Amoako-Adu was preaching the sermon on the "seven words on the cross" on Easter Friday at the Koforidua Anglican St. Peter's Cathedral.

He called on Ghanaians to break the party lines and care for one other no matter the situation adding that through that Ghana could be a better place for all to stay. 10 April 09
