Christians urged to unite to ensure national development

Prophet Dr Prince Kofi Okyere, Founder of the Faith Anointing International Ministries, has called on Christians to unite in all that they do to promote togetherness and also ensure national development.

‘Whatever we do as Christians, let unity prevail to promote the church and the country’s development’, he said.

Prophet Dr Okyere was speaking at the opening of 14-day fasting and prayer conference of the church at Pantang, near Abokobi in the Greater Accra Region on Tuesday.

The event was held under the theme: ‘I Must Possess My Possession’ and it was aimed at praying for the well-being of Ghanaians and the development of the nation.

Prophet Dr Okyere urged Christians to consult the Lord to lead them in all that they do and during times of difficulty.

‘As Christians, we must desist from things that would not glorify the Lord’, he said adding that ‘Christians must be ambassadors of Christ in all that they do’.

Prophet Okyere called for the promotion of friendship, good health, good governance, security, sustained businesses, and political stability.

He called on religious leaders to be circumspect in their prophecies to promote peace and unity in families and the entire country.
