After a long relationship spanning for 50 years, a couple above the age of ninety from the Dansoman Central Assembly of the Church of Pentecost have successfully gone before the altar.

The couple, James K. Andorful 96 finally married her long time partner, Margaret A. Manuel 93 and have been blessed with nine children.

The occasion drew a lot of Members who expressed appreciation to God for seeing the well advanced in age couple in their many years of relationship.

They were enthralled by their exciting posture as they observed the aged couple in their white apparel exchange their marital vows.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Dansoman District Pastor, Rev James Oko Barnor confessed that it was difficult advising such a couple in view of their long years of relationship.

He added that he was excited to see the couple take the decision to tie the knot.

Preaching on a sermon titled "unless they understand each other" from Amos 3:3, Pastor Barnor indicated "if two couples can live under one roof for 50 years in a relationship, it means they understood each other".

According to him, one thing leading to divorce and separation of marriages in Ghana has to do with the fact that they like to compare themselves with others.

He recalled that in the olden days couples understood each other without comparing themselves with others.

Pastor Barnor, therefore, urged the members to be content with what they have in order to keep their marriage intact till death separate them.
