A medical Doctor at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Dr. Winfred Kuwornu has advised Ghanaians to keep their environment tidy and clean all the time to promote good health among them.

As part of efforts to ensure cleanliness in Greater Accra, Dr. Winfred Kuwornu last Saturday organised a massive clean-up exercise at Tetegu in the Weija-Gbawe Municipality.

It was well participated by residents in the area including a female Teacher from Russia. Aspiring Assemblyman for Tetegu Electoral Area - Bright Adabra and his supporters as well as members of Chamey Foundation for Hope (NGO) actively involved themselves in the good course.

Muddy areas and gutters choked with filth were neatly cleaned while bushy areas were perfectly weeded.

Dr. Winfred Kuwornu was extremely glad with the transformation which took place at Tetegu after the clean-up exercise. He lauded the residents for their commitment and positive response towards the exercise. He cautioned against living in filth since it is harmful to human health.

The aspiring Assemblyman for Tetegu Electoral Area, Bright Adabra in a brief interview with the press after the clean-up exercise said;

"This is a very useful exercise. We should always help to keep the nation clean as Ghanaians instead of leaving everything unto the shoulders of our leaders".

The CEO of Chamey Foundation of Hope, Albert Awudi also assured that he and his group are always ready to team-up with members of Tetegu to fight against filth in Greater Accra whenever the need arises.
