The Reverend Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, President of Worldwide Miracle Outreach, on Tuesday expressed hope that Election 2012 would be peaceful.
He asked Ghanaians to be tolerant, avoid personality attacks, insults and ethnic and divisive politics.
Rev. Dr. Tetteh was speaking at a press conference in Sunyani to brief the media on a three-day crusade, to be organized by the church from Wednesday, May 23.
He appealed to politicians seeking to lead the country to acknowledge the existence of God, and refrain from “politics of deception, impunity, lies, character assassination and personality cult.”
Rev. Tetteh said the crusade was aimed at addressing moral decadence that had engulfed the Ghanaian society, and attracting people to God.
Rev. Paul Naughton, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Benny Hinn Ministries in the United Kingdom, said the non-denominational crusade was designed by God to shower blessings on Ghanaians.**
