Asante Kotoko were held to a 0-0 draw by Division One side Skyy Football Club in a pre-season friendly ahead of the new season.
The Porcupine Warriors after beating Ebusua Dwarfs were expected to beat the Division One side with with ease but that was not to be.
Johnson Smith made series of changes to the side that started against Dwarfs maintaining only Songne Yacouba who captained the side .
Despite dominating the encounter the Porcupines failed to break the resolute Skyy FC defence as the game ended barren.
Asante Kotoko will now shift their attentions to the enthralling encounter against arch-rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in the replay of the 2019 President’s Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium on December 15.g
