According to the Deputy Executive Director of NACOB, Nii Lantey Blankson, the arrest of the four suspects was a collaborative effort between NACOB officials and their external partners in the United Kingdom and the Caribbeans.

The four suspects were arrested in connection with a narcotics trafficking ring being channeled through Ghana Post.

The Executive Secretary of the NACOB, Yaw Akrasi Sarpong in an interview with Accra based Citi Fm stated that the suspects will be arraigned before court by close of Wednesday.

He said, “that is the mandatory period so they have to be arraigned before court today. They are being processed for court and we have to plead with the judge that they should put them in remand while we continue with the investigations.”
