Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey;
Call A Clean Kettle Black!
News Desk Report
The opposition New Patriotic Party’s (NPP’s) National Chairman, certificateless Jake Otanka Obetsebi-Lamptey, cries maa maa maa like a baby: Because his “all die be die” squads is being dealt with decisively by the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the law enforcement agencies, making it difficult for them having their way in the on-going biometric registration exercise.
Since the beginning of the registration exercise, Jake’s “all die be die” wee and cocaine-choked thugs have been dealt with by the vigilance of the NDC registration representatives as well as the law enforcement agencies, with reports of about six of them having been charged. It is this that sends the NPP chairman crying as if lost his way home.
Indeed, Jake Otanka Obestebi-Lamptey should be the last person to have written to His Excellency President John Evans Atta Mills, complaining about election-related violence.
In 2000, it was a public secret that Jake was responsible for littering the nation with dead bodies of murdered women. The NPP wanted power “at all cost” hence the evil decision to murder innocent women and drop them on the streets all over the country, particularly, Accra.
As National chairman of a political party, Jake did not see the need to call his flagbearer, Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo to order when he decided to incite Akans against other tribes, in addition to his “all die be die” mantra; yet he thinks he has the moral courage to, as reported, write to the President asking him to call his party members to order.
In the same office apartment with his National Youth Organizer, Anthony Karbo, Jake never deemed it important to chastise Karbo, as well as warn him never to preach violence because, the whole world is looking at Ghana to see how we manage this year’s election process to remain a democratic icon for Africa.
But Jake thinks President Mills should be preventing the law enforcement agencies from performing their constitutionally mandated duty of ensuring that the peace of this country is not taken for granted.
Because his wee-choked and cocaine thugs are being dealt with according to the laws of the land, making situations difficult for them as regards their evil intents in the on-going country-wide registration exercise, Jake holds the view that something unreasonable is about to happen, hence his call on President Mills to call his followers to order.
On the same platform with the Assin North MP, Kennedy Agyapong weeks ago at Mantse Agbona in James Town, Accra, Jake was full of praise for the Assin North MP when he called on NPP party members to lynch any police officer who prevents them from carrying out their “all die be die” agenda; because they want power “at all cost”, yet still, he thinks the NDC is responsible for every violence in this country.
Jake’s letter would have been taken seriously by discerning minds, if any NDC member is reported to have been arrested in on-going biometric registration exercise, for causing mayhem like those six NPP macho-men busted by the police.
Having read the NPP chairman’s letter, the only conclusion is that Jake and his NPP should not be taken serious, since they are cluster of hypocrites, who think they can play on the intelligence of people to the maximum benefit of their political agenda.
In fact, the call by the NPP is not genuine hence all must ignore him and commend the law enforcement agencies rather, for keeping up to their constitutionally mandated task.
As for Jake and his NPP, their “all die be die” plan will never see the light of day, period!!
