Complete fence wall in honour of departed Godfred Arthur - OKESS Old Students Association

President of Osei Kyeretwie Senior High School Old Students Association says education authorities must complete the school’s fence wall anytime soon in honour late Godfred Arthur.

Dr. Kwabena Poku Dusei says the death of a 19–year old final student of the school could have been prevented if not for the encroachers on the school’s land.

Dr. Dusei adds the death of the student has brought to forth the insecurity in the school and an opportunity to look at security situation in other schools.

He also wants other challenges addressed including placement of permanent security personnel.

Meanwhile authorities of the School say they have submitted documents on portions of its land in contention to city authorities for redress. 

They contain, among others, copies of letters written over time to highlight potential danger of the school’s uncompleted fence wall.

It is in response to a request by Metropolitan Chief Executive, Osei Assibey Antwi, after Wednesday killing of a student stabled by suspected armed robbers.
