Accra, Dec 12, GNA - Journalists at the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on Monday expressed condolences to the Graphic Communications Group (GCG) on the death of Mr Joe Bradford Nyinah, the Deputy News Editor of the Daily Graphic. Mr Nyinah, 48, died on Saturday at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra after a short illness.
A statement signed by Mr Christian Agubretu, Deputy News Editor and Mr Kwasi Kpodo, an Editor, said "we have learnt with heavy heart the passing away of our colleague, Mr Joe Bradford Nyinah, on Saturday.'' "We remember him as true professional and his death will not be a loss to only his employers but also to the entire inky fraternity.'' Mr Nyinah, who joined the GCG in 1984, was for more than a decade the Daily Graphic's correspondent at the Castle, the seat of government. Mr Divine Koblah of the GNA who worked with the late Mr Nyinah at the Castle, said of him "he was a true and a loyal member of the Castle Press Corp. Joe was professionally competent.''
Mr Nyinah also served as the Daily Graphic's Parliamentary Bureau Chief between 2003/2004.
