Confirmed cases of the deadly COVID-19 in the Western North region of Ghana is now 56, the Ghana Health Service has stated.
All the confirmed 56 cases, the Ghana Health Service states are contacts of the first case.
The report added that contact tracing for the new 56 cases are ongoing.
Ghana has officially recorded 3,091 cases of the novel Coronavirus with 18 deaths and almost 313 recoveries.
Meanwhile, five (5) Health Workers have tested positive for Coronavirus in the Eastern Region.
The number is out of over a hundred (100) health workers exposed to positive contacts hence quarantined and being tested.
The Eastern Region has also confirmed one new case of Coronavirus on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, increasing the regional tally to 95.
