Rev Professor Paul Frimpong Manso, General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God has urged all members of the church to cooperate with health officials in the fight against the coronavirus outbreak.
The Assemblies of God Ghana has suspended all church activities following the government’s four-week ban on public gatherings.
This is to help forestall the further spread of the coronavirus in the country.
Rev Professor Frimpong Manso, in a statement said: “All church activities of the Assemblies of God Ghana have been suspended for the next four weeks starting from today 16th March 2020. These include all weekly meetings.”
He added: “I encourage all members to cooperate with the health professionals and state agencies as they work around the clock to find a solution to the menace.”
