Coronavirus: Weija Leprosarium gets huge financial support from Kasapa FM's Anidaso show

A staggering GHC31,980 cash presentation has been made to Reverend Father Campbell to aid in his caretaking vocation at the Weija Leprosarium.

Agyenim Boateng, host of Kasapa FM’s ‘Anidaso’ show donated the amount to the Leprosarium on Sunday, May 24.

According to Reverend Agyenim Boateng who was in the company of some pastors and staff of Kasapa FM, the donation was in accordance with instruction from God to him and patrons of his show.

Presenting the cash to the highly revered Catholic priest, Agyenim Boateng revealed that the gesture was a climax of a one-week prayer and fasting exercise undertaking by the show and its listeners.

“‘We were directed by God to make a thanksgiving donation here so that father Campbell would pray for everyone who contributed to raising the money. I am confident everyone who played a role in seeing this materialise would be extremely blessed” he said.

A visibly awed Father Campbell expressed heartfelt gratitude to Agyenim Boateng and prayed for God’s blessings for him, the show and the station.

He welcomed the donation has a timely gesture that will help the Leprosarium deal with the hardship that has engulfed it since the outbreak of the virus.

He also assured that the amount will be used for the intended course.

“‘These people are often forgotten and on their own so we very grateful that you thought of them at this particular time. To be able to think of the marginalized and the poor and needy, we are grateful. I’m very happy that you have come here to assist this marginalized people.

We haven’t received any donation like this through the whole Pandemic. This is wonderful’. To all your listeners, staff and benefactors, we say thank you and God bless you”
