A Member of the Council of State, Nana Somuah Mireku Nyampong III, has called for Ghanaians to be patient and give strong backing to the government in the implementation of its development vision.
He said it was in the interest of everybody that it succeeded to build a more robust and resilient economy, to create jobs and wealth.
Nana Nyampong, who is the chief of Kwahu Asakraka, was speaking at a durbar held to raise funds to support the development of the town.
He indicated that the government had taken some significant steps to fix things and get the economy on the path of sustainable growth to hasten improvement of the lives of the people.
He pledged to represent the interest of the entire Eastern Region and work to bring progress to them.
Nana Nyampong used the occasion to say “thank you” to the people in region for the opportunity to represent them in the Council and assured them of good counsel to the President for efficient running of the country.
