Constitutional Lawyer, Dr. Frimpong Manso, has said the formation of the “Council of State” has been awkward due to the partisan manner in which they are constituted.
He bemoaned that, the Council of State should be populated by former heads of state, and those who have taken a leading role in the country before.
He revealed, “Council of State in successive governance since independence have been partisan and has rendered the advisory body “soft”, and not “hard” in the discharge as a council of State”.
Speaking on Kingdom FM’s “Pae Mu Ka” show on 6th March 2020, with Host, Kwaku Dawuro, the Legal brain advised that the country needs to be up and doing because the country is moving at a slower pace since independence in 1957.
