An Accra Circuit Court on Monday remanded Enock Kojo Nuamah, Graphic designer, Effah Twum Samuel and Samuel Nana both printers, into police custody for preparation to commit crime.
The accused persons pleaded not guilty and would re-appear on October 13, 2014.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, told the court presided over by Mr Francis Obiri that the complainant in the case are personnel from the anti-Armed robbery unit of the CID headquarters, while the accused persons are workers of Seven Colours Advertising Co0mpany.
He said on September 25, personnel from the anti-Armed robbery squad had information that the three accused persons were recruiting armed robbers to invade the company and rob the manager of their weekly sales.
He said personnel from the unit posed as ‘potential’ recruits and met with the three accused persons at Accra New town.
The prosecution said the accused persons revealed to their recruits that there was a safe in the bedroom of the manager of the company, which contained the sales over a period of time and also gave them a detailed plan of the layout of the company.
He said, according to the complainant, they then agreed on a 40/60 percentage share of the booty, but the accused persons were immediately arrested and during interrogation admitted the offence.
