A young woman, Agnes, has sought refuge from a pastor after a series of tragic events in her family, which she believes were triggered by a curse following accusations of infidelity against her father.

The curse has left her family in ruins, with three members dead, one missing, and another suffering from madness.

According to her, she is also battling barrenness in her marriage.

Appearing on Pastor Prince Elisha Osei Kofi's "Secret Court Confession" programme, Agness recounted the ordeal that began when a young lady showed up at their home, claiming to be her father’s daughter from an extramarital affair.

She explained that the incident has set off a chain of events that she believes is rooted in a curse by her mother.

“We used to have a happy family living together with our parents. We were five siblings living in our father's five-story mansion. One morning, my father left for town, and a certain lady came arguing that she was looking for my father because her mother had told her that my father was her father too.

“I called my mother to listen to the lady, and she told her that her husband was not in the house. She said the lady could come back when he returned, but the lady never came back.

“Upon my dad’s arrival from town, my mother angrily confronted him about the issue. He said he knew nothing about her, but my mother kept insisting. We were all waiting for the girl to come back so that we could clarify the issue, but she never came back,” she said.

Agnes revealed that her mother, in a fit of rage, cursed her father while stripping naked, cursing her father while sitting on a broken bottle.

“My mother stopped cooking for my dad and started fighting with him. She then sat on broken bottles and stripped naked to curse my father, accusing him of cheating on her and lying to her. My father eventually became paralyzed days later. We took him to hospitals, pastors, and herbal homes, but all proved futile.

“One day, my mother said she had gone somewhere and was told that nothing could be done about my dad's health. She told my elder brother that we had to let him go and rest. We asked her how, but she couldn’t tell us.

“The next day, we saw our dad bleeding from his nose and mouth. When I told my mom, she said he was dead,” she narrated.

Tragically, her father later died under mysterious circumstances, which Agnes suspects may have involved poisoning.

She added that her elder brother, who took their father’s body to the mortuary, was informed that their father had not died when he was initially brought in.

“My elder brother, when he went for the corpse from the mortuary during the funeral, was told that my dad hadn’t died when we brought him, but he didn’t ask anything and came back home.”

She explained that during their father’s funeral, one of her sisters noticed something unusual about their father's body.

“During the funeral, my other sister said she saw my father's hands and mouth tied at his back with a black cloth. When she told my mother, she said she should keep quiet.

“Exactly one year later, our elder brother had a series of dreams, suffered a stroke, and died. My mother also dreamt and saw my dad in the dream, who died of a stroke.

The curse has left one of Agnes’s sisters mad, while another is missing and cannot be found.

“Now, the issue is I am married but barren, one of my sisters is mad, and another is missing. I feel there is something going on, which is why I am here to seek refuge,” she added.

Agnes has now turned to the church for help, fearing that the curse may continue to affect her life, as she has been unable to conceive since her marriage.
