The alleged misunderstanding between the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Mpohor Wassa East, Mr. Edward Tawiah Amprofi, and his former district co-ordinating director (DCD), Mr. V.K. Ayivor, which led to the transfer of the latter from the district, took a dramatic turn last Monday when the DCE allegedly stormed the bungalow of Ayivor in the night to forcibly throw out his belongings and locked up the place.

The DCE allegedly took the unfortunate decision to forcibly eject his former district co-ordinating director under the cover of darkness after accusing him of over staying in his official bungalow even though he had long been transferred from the district to the regional office in Sekondi.

Not satisfied with such a humiliating ejection, the former district co-ordinating director has also threatened to file legal suit against his former boss for what he perceived to be unlawful ejection since the two policemen - Messrs Nkansah and Tawiah - who helped the DCE and his driver to forcefully eject him from the bungalow did not act upon any court orders.

Mr. Tawiah Amprofi confirmed the ejection when he was contacted but denied that force was applied. According to the DCE it was Mr. Ayivor himself who helped them to pack his belongings to the nearby guesthouse, that is also owned by the district assembly after they had served him with the ejection notice.

Investigations revealed that Mr. Ayivor was transferred from the Mpohor district to Wassa West district on April 6 this year following a misunderstanding that arose between him and the DCE.
