Damongo: Independent candidate donates bags of sugar to the disabled

An Independent candidate for the Damongo Constituency of the Savannah Region Mr David Tiki Dange has donated 3 bags of sugar and a pack of Milo containing 12 tins to the Disability society in Damongo on Wednesday 6th May, 2020.

A brother of the Independent candidate Mr Mudasir Amadu presented the items to the Disabled in Damongo. Mudasir said his brother Tiki Dange wanted to be present himself to donate the items but due to reasons beyond his control but will be in the Constituency to interact with them.

The President of the Physically disabled persons Society in Damongo Mr Takora Joshua Dramani thanked Mr Tiki Dange for his assistance. He said the dynamics of politics is changing day by day as the society is only remembered by politicians during electioneering period and forgets them afterwards.

He went further to assure Mr Tiki Dange that during his campaigns, the society will rally behind him with one of them being a part of his campaign team since he has shown the way of love to them.

Mr David Tiki Dange, a former United Nations Security Advisor has made several donations for the Damongo Constituency with his name becoming a household name in almost every part of the Constituency.

In March this year, Mr Tiki Dange embarked on free distribution of over 4,000 surgical masks as well as Hand Sanitizers to the Damongo constituents to protect themselves against the dreaded Coronavirus and again sponsored both Islamic and traditional special prayers to end the pandemic in Ghana and beyond.
