Former Ghana U-20 goalie Daniel Adjei was satisfied with Daniel Amartey’s debut for Leicester City and tips him to go on and excel at the club.
Amartey made his debut for the Premier League leaders over the weekend against Norwich and played for 60 minutes.
The Ghanaian drew applause from team mates who were impressed with his calmness and ability to read the game.
Former Ghana youth goalkeeper Daniel Adjei who won the FIFA U-20 world Cup in 2009 says his Ghanaian colleague will take the Premier League by storm.
“I am really delighted for Amartey I watched the game and I say he was solid,” Adjei told Accra-based CITI-FM
“The coach knew the kind of player he bought and I am certain that he will go on to do great things at the club.”
Amartey joined Leicester after spending two seasons with Danish giants FC Copenhagen.
