Danlad Ibrahim is not ripe for Black Stars - Fabin

Black Starlets Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin says young goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad should not be rushed into the Black Stars after his exploits at the Africa junior championships.

The youngster after he impressed for Ghana at the just-ended CAF U-17 Championship in Gabon where he conceded just a goal, has been tipped for greatness with many calling on Kwesi Appiah to hand him a call up.

But Fabian has played down calls to hand the 14- year old Asante Kotoko goalkeeper a senior national team call up.

He insists the young goalkeeper is not ripe for the Black Stars.

“He is a fantastic young goalkeeper who should be allowed to go through the ranks but i must say he is not ripe for the black stars”
