President-Elect John Dramani Mahama and his family held a thanksgiving service on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the Ringway Gospel Assemblies of God Church, at Osu, in celebration of his victory in the recent general elections.

He was joined by prominent members of the National Democratic Congress and well-wishers to celebrate their resounding victory with a heartfelt thanksgiving to God.

As part of his thanksgiving, Mahama and his family distributed goodie bags to church members, adding to the joyful atmosphere and expressing their appreciation.

The thanksgiving bags contained various items, including food packs, Ekumfi Pineapple Juice, bottled water, and canned drinks.

The inclusion of the Ekumfi Juice, locally-produced, as part of the items has ignited debates among Ghanaian users on X on Monday, December 16, 2024.

From the comments, some netizens have congratulated President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his legacy, stressing that Ekumfi Juice is a product of his 1 District 1 Factory initiative.

According to them, posterity will be kind to the outgoing president for his initiatives, while criticising members of the NDC for downplaying the impact of the 1D1F project.
