Deeper Life Ministry holds national youth empowerment summit

Deeper Life Christian Ministry is to organize a national Youth Empowerment Summit (YES) to prepare adequately and spiritually candidates writing the 2014 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and the West African Senior High School Certification Examination (WASSCE).

Schedule for March 22, the day’s summit is on the theme “empowerment for greatness” and aims at enhancing self-reliance of the youth and improve their employability potentials by developing and nurturing their success and leadership skills.

A statement signed by Pastor William F Kumuyi, General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, and YES Convener and copied to the GNA in Sunyani said the summit would be held simultaneously in all the regional capitals in the country.

It said YES would bring together best scholars, educators and entrepreneurs to share their experiences with the youth.

“The summit is the product of my vision, passion and desire to impact youth with successes and leaderships skills thus, giving them an edge in a globally competitive world,” the statement said.

“I strongly believe that the youth are the powerful agents of change whose energy and skills must be harnessed in pursuance of a national transformation agenda.” He said.
