The sharp – witted New Patriotic Party’s Member of Parliament for Efia Constituency who doubles as the Deputy Minister of Energy in charge of Finance and Infrastructure , Honourable Joseph Cudjoe has toured some communities in his constituency interacting and explaining Government policies to the constituents.

He started his December tour Christened ” *Community Encounter with Honourable Joseph Cudjoe* ” at Connect Fm where he announced to his constituents of his intended encounter with the masses .

Among communities visited in the month of December were:

a, EFIAKUMA ZONGO. *A* ELECTRICAL AREA (. Koobi bar)

b,. EFIAKUMA NO. 9

c,. EFIAKUMA ETSEW ASE

d, EFIAKUMA EAST ( NEW SITE) .

He received a rousing welcome at communities he visited and explained to them the recent intermittent power outages , free SHS, double track policy, and many more.

At EFIAKUMA ZONGO, he met the Islamic communities and outlined his vision and the unprecedented developmental projects he has initiated though not part of his core mandate in the ZONGO community including the upgraded of infrastructure facilities at Al – Azera JHS, the only Islamic school at EFIAKUMA ZONGO , sponsorship of vulnerable Muslims to undertake a pilgrimage. to Mecca which has so far sponsored tens of Muslims pilgrims to Mecca.

Construction of toilet facilities and provision of street lights. Provision of learning materials to the school and other social interventions to many of the many of the constituents.

As part of his annual benevolence to churches in the constituency and to reach out to his constituents on the festive season, Honourable Cudjoe presented hampers to churches in his constituency.

He also cut sod for the construction of a New artificial soccer field at Lagos town and also inspected work of an Astro Turf soccer field which has commenced at EFIAKUMA POLICE PARK .

The Deputy Minister presented a cash of one thousand Ghana cedis (1,000 GH cedis) each to some ten Youth clubs in the constituency and also supported the Masquerade group in the constituency with an amount of five thousand Ghana cedis ( 5,000gh ) to organize a massive Christmas fanfare at the constituency,.

The Minister climaxed his encounter with the communities with a massive Party at his residence with his constituents which attracted a huge crowd from all over the constituency and some special gifts and an undisclosed amount of money was presented to vulnerable families and old ages .

A big masquerade jamboree was also sponsored by the Member of Parliament to entertain the enthusiastic youth in the constituency.

A multi – million dollar TAKORADI Shopping Mall was also COMMISSIONED by the Deputy Minister.

The leadership of Tanokrom Garages paid a call on him at his residence to apologize for an unfortunate incident that occurred at Lagos town when the Mp went there to cut the sod for the commencement of the new artificial football field and also discussed the way forward to solve an impasse between the garages and the authorities which occurs after they were evicted from a rented land to pave way for the commencement of the Mall which has created a massive employment to the Youth in the constituency.

The non partisan meetings with the communities attracted huge Crowd from the political divides and were successful with many of the constituents praising the Member of Parliament for his hardwork and promised to support him to succeed
