Details on why Kurt Okraku is meeting CAF President in Kenya

President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, has arrived in Nairobi, Kenya, for the Executive Committee (EXCO) meeting of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Okraku is attending the meeting in his role as President of the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Zone B, following an invitation from the Executive Committee.

The meeting, chaired by CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe, is scheduled for Monday, September 16, 2024, in Nairobi.

Following the meeting, Dr. Motsepe will hold a press conference at 13:00 local time (10:00 GMT) to discuss topics such as the CAF Africa Cup of Nations 2027, the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship, and other upcoming CAF events.

Okraku arrived in Nairobi on Sunday, September 15, 2024, to participate in this high-level CAF meeting.
