Disregard fake press release urging my followers to support NPP – Afoko
Mr. Paul Awentami Afoko has denied issuing a pressing release making rounds on various social media platforms in respect of his followers to support the NPP.
He described the purported release as the machination of enemies from within the NPP and their collaborators outside to create the false impression that they mean well for the NPP and so want power but in actual fact it is the reverse.
“For the information of the general public, neither my good self nor anybody from the office of the elected national chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has authored any such statement.
It is, as usual, coming from the enemies from within the NPP and their collaborators outside who have created the false impression that they mean well for the NPP and so want power but in actual fact the reverse is what they wish for the party.
It is our wish that they do not dare us into engaging them on anything at a time they are supposed to be in the trenches explaining to Ghanaians why the NPP deserves to be given the mandate to govern in its present state”, his aide Nana Yaw Osei disclosed in a release issued and signed on Friday
He advised the public to ignore any such statement reiterating that it could only be coming from evil minds urging the media to cross-check with me to be sure of any statement purported to be coming from the office of Mr Afoko.
