The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has voted in his hometown Walewale in the District Assembly and Unit Committee Elections.
Dr. Bawumia was among early voters at the Kperiga Presby D/A School ‘A’ polling station in Walewale this morning.
After casting his ballot, the Vice President urged fellow citizens to exercise their civic responsibilities by participating in the District Assembly and Unit Committee elections.
"I urge all to come out in your numbers to vote since national development begins at the local level," said Dr. Bawumia.
Voting is on-going throughout the country to elect District Assembly and Unit Committee Members.
