Amoma (B/A), Aug. 22, GNA - Mr Peter Addae, Assembly Member for Amoma East in Kintampo District of Brong Ahafo has commended Kintampo District Assembly for providing the community with development projects. Mr Addae told Ghana News Agency at Amoma that the community had been provided with three boreholes, while all the three schools in the area were being provided with KVIP places of convenience.
The people are working to construct a police station and a senior secondary school.
Mr Addae said the Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) church would support the senior secondary school project, whilst the people would provide communal labour.
Meanwhile, the people are laying blocks to construct additional classrooms to accommodate the increasing number of pupils in the local Methodist Primary 'A' and 'B' schools.
