Kwasu (B/A), Nov. 18, GNA - Mr. Bukari Zakaria Anaba, Tano South District Chief Executive, has called on Ghanaians to exercise patience since the government would do everything possible to fulfil every promise made during the 2008 electioneering campaign.
He said the youth would soon "see light" in the provision of jobs through the forestation and youth in agriculture programmes. Mr. Anaba said this when he addressed the chiefs and people of Kwasu, near Bechem as part of a tour of the area.
"President John Evans Atta Mills has decided to change the political landscape in the country by being the father of all since he has decided not to victimize his political opponents", he said. Mr. Anaba pledged to address the perennial water problem in the area. Nana Fosu Boadi Amponim II, Chief of the area, thanked the DCE for his sense of purpose and advised him to be courageous and accommodate views from persons of different political inclinations. The chief appealed for the re-shaping of the Bechem/Kwasu road that is in a deplorable condition to enable farmers to cart their produce to marketing centres.
