Do not believe negative stories about Prophet Badu Kobi - Owusu Bempah

An audio recording of a church service where Rev. Owusu Bempah, Founder and General Overseer of the Glorious Word Ministries was praising his denounced son, Prophet Kobi has surfaced.

It remains unclear when this audio tape or church service was conducted. However, the former spiritual father of Prophet Badu Kobi, Founder and General Overseer of the Glorious Wave Church International, was heard showering praise on his former spiritual son.

Rev. Bempah, also prophesied in the tape that, Prophet Kobi will be spiritually strong and the length he will go will be immeasurable because only few people are able to attain that level of spiritual strength.

Aside that, the Prophet will be so famous to the extent that, BBC will telecast live his exploits, he said.

One striking aspect of the tape which has surprised people has to do with the endorsement by Rev. Bempah where he asked people not to believe the negative stories they will hear about Prophet Kobi. He said, ‘’do not believe or pay heed to what people will say about him [Prophet Kobi] because if you do so, you will lose a lot and what you will have to benefit from his ministry.’’

‘’Do not believe them because he is a servant of God. In dealing with servants of God, you have to be extremely cautious. If you do take caution in dealing with men of God, you will be cursed,’’ the purported tape attributed to Rev. Bempah said.

He added: ‘’we have men of God who are men of God amongst men and we have men of God who are truly men of God.’’

In the tape, he also described Prophet Kobi as someone dear to his heart. ''God is aware he [Prophet Kobi] is dear to my heart. What he has done in my life; I have not seen anything compared to that.''

Rev. Owusu Bempah denounced Prophet Kobi over claims that he [Prophet Kobi] failed to heed to his advice and was associating a certain group of people he [Rev. Bempah] did not approve of.

Addressing a gathering of journalists from selected media houses recently, Rev. Owusu Bempah stated that his decision to disown Prophet Badu Kobi stemmed from the latter’s continual insubordination and refusal to heed his counsel.

“Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi who prophesied during the campaign season that a certain party would win the elections and also added that a particular candidate cannot be President of Ghana, is no longer my spiritual son. This is because he doesn’t heed to my counsel and has joined a certain company of individuals that I’m not comfortable with against my wishes,” he stated.

Prophet Kobi in a statement responding to the announcement said: ‘’I wish to express my profound gratitude to my ex spiritual father prophet Dr. Isaac Owusu Bempah, the leader and founder of glorious word and power ministry. He has loved me as a son and I have also loved him as a father for the past seventeen years of our spiritual relationship In the midst of my God given assignment, I willingly submitted myself to him first as my mentor and later as my spiritual father. I therefore use this opportunity to thank him for all that he has done for me. By this release I wish him well in all his future endeavors. Also, I wish to use this medium to inform all my followers that never have I and ever will I consult any deity for my god given assignment because God almighty is enough for me. Rev. Owusu Bempah further stated that he would disclose the company that Prophet Kobi had joined; the reason for which he disowned him.’’
