He won’t take a threat lightly and he definitely won’t let it pass without ‘barking’ back, and this time is no exception as Musician and staunch member of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Kwame A Plus has ‘hit back’ at Communications Minister, Ursula Owusu for suggesting that he apologises and retracts comments he made on social media against her.
Madam Ekuful, through her Lawyers, Tuesday, May 29, released a statement after A Plus took to his Facebook page to post; “Kwasi Nyantakyi is only being sacrificed to cover up the $89/178 million KelniGVG stinking scandal”.
Obviously unhappy with the comments which she believes is accusatory and suggests her involvement in some corruptible activities said in the statement; “We are instructed to notify you that our client takes a serious view of your defamatory publication on Facebook and would not hesitate to commence legal action against you if the said publication is not retracted on or before June 1, 2018”.
“We are also instructed to notify you to render an unqualified apology in the same medium and prominence in the manner that your libelous publication was done”, her counsel, Gary Nimako Marfo, stated in the letter to the musician.
A Plus in a rather ‘hard’ comeback has dared the Minister and her counsel to ‘bring it on’ as he is the least ‘afraid’ of their threats.
“If I apologise, Nimokafui and Ayetefrem and chalabim and Salafim should kill me. You think this is 2017. I only helped you to win power. I’m not part of your nonsense. I’m not afraid of anyone. Not a single soul”, he posited on his official Facebook page.
Any move on their part he intimated, will be at their own cost as they risk facing humiliation he added.
“I’m wild like a lion!!! Bring it on, you’ll be humiliated!”, he said.
