The government of President Akufo-Addo has no excuse to give for Ghanaians as the country continues to witness shortfalls in energy generation plunging the citizenry into darkness, according to former National Democratic Congress (NDC) Ashanti regional secretary.
Joseph Yamin is asking government as a matter of urgency to provide reliable long term solution to the recent energy problem since the country was bequeathed to them with sufficient electricity and not as seen in recent times
Speaking exclusively to mynewsgh.com, the former Deputy Ashanti Regional minister also asked the public not to accept explanation from government the previous NDC government did little to ameliorate the energy situation in the country.
“Don’t accept these explanations from them. They should see our energy experts to fix it if they have run short ideas to fix”, Yamin revealed.
He also took swipe at the NPP’s Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Bosiako known as Wontumi who recently alleged that some staff of the Electricity Company he believes are sympathizers of the out gone NDC government are sabotaging government.
“Wontumi Should keep quiet. He is an illiterate to talk on energy matters. I will still ask the NPP to seek advice from experts before going public on energy problems in the country”, he advised.
