Ho, March 27, GNA - The Right Reverend Francis Anani Lodonu, Bishop of the Ho Diocese of the Catholic Church has urged Christians not to be shaken in their faith in Christ and attachment to Christian morality by bad examples of Priests and other leaders of the Church. He said it was wrong for a Christian to explain off his or her misdeeds by pointing to similar wrongs committed by leaders of the Church.

Bishop Lodonu was delivering the Easter Sunday Service sermon at the Sacred Heart Parish of the Catholic Church at Ho-Bankoe, in Ho. He said every Christian holds himself accountable to God for his deeds and misdeeds on earth.

The Bishop exhorted Christians to renew their faith with the celebration of every Christian anniversary such as Christmas and Easter.

Bishop Lodonu asked Christians to be prayerful, eschew wrong doings and hatred, adding that, renewal of faith should reflect in our lives. He said pledges recited at Churches should come from their hearts and not mere outpourings from their lips.

Bishop Lodonu said it would be fatal for a Christian to keep postponing renewing his faith, since death was lurking around and could strike at anytime.
