Former Commissioner for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), Justice Emile Short has advised the youth not to exchange their votes with rice and oil. 

Justice Emile Short told the youth  during a forum organized by the Let My Vote Count Alliance in Ho.

According to him, if the youth abstain from selling their votes to politicians, credibility of the polls will be ensured.

For his part, Rev. Monsignor  Anthony  Kornu of the Catholic Diocese of Ho who also graced the occasion reminded the youth not allow themselves for politician to use as weapons for destruction.

The program was attended by some political  Lectures  and moderated by  Paul Adom Octhere, Good evening Ghana on metro tv.

The Let My Vote Count Alliance is an organization which is committed to the  consolidation of democracy and preserving the integrity of the electoral  process in Ghana .

As part of their core duty, Let My Vote Count Alliance is organizing a nationwide forum to bring together across –section of stakeholders to discuss the role the electorate in the ensuring credible elections before, during and after general election 2016.
