Dormaa Residents Construct Clinic

Amasu (B/A), Aug. 25, - The people of Amasu, a farming community in the Dormaa district, have completed the construction of a clinic at a cost of 25 million cedis. The project which started in the early seventies was made possble through contributions of the people and fund-raising harvests. The inhabitants undertook communal labour. Mr Sylvester Boakye, assemblyman for the town, made this known when he took newsmen round to inspect the project at the weekend. The people have also embarked on the construction of a four- classroomed block, with an office and a store for the senior secondary school and an electrification project estimated at over 60 million cedis. He said so far, the people have spent more than 20 million cedis to procure 68 poles. The senior secondary school is at the roofing level.
