The Headmaster of Bole Senior High School Mr Duut Jantuad Peter has disclosed that he created a house named E.A. Mahama at the Bole Senior High School (SHS) in appreciation of President John Dramani Mahama’s massive infrastructural development at the school.

E.A. Mahama, the father of President Mahama is the first Member of Parliament (MP) and first Northern Regional Commissioner of the Northern Region and later, a Minister under Dr Kwame Nkrumah’s government.

Speaking on the Bole- based Nkilgi Fm, Mr Duut commended government for building a huge and magnificent story building which would result in an increase in enrolment at the school because the dormitory would house not less than one thousand students.

The Headmaster also expressed his gratitude to government for putting up a Sports Complex at Bole SHS which is one of the only three Sports complexes for Senior High Schools in the country as well as a school fence wall which is one of biggest for a Senior High School in Ghana.

He said government is developing an eighteen-kilometer of tarred road network at the Bole SHS which would be another monumental project when completed. Mr Duut said two bungalows have been built by government at the school and two more have been awarded on contractor to make the bungalows four by early next year. The Headmaster thanked the Parents Teacher Association (PTA) of Bole SHS for putting up nine (9) self-contained houses to house Teachers.

‘There has been a great academic improvement at the school especially with this year’s West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results in which the best student got aggregate sixteen which is a great improvement from the twenty seven (27) last year. Ghanaians must show appreciation by renewing President John Mahama’s mandate as President come December 7?.

The Deputy Communications Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Bole- Bamboi, Abudulai Abdul-Jalil urged the people of Bole District to reciprocate President Mahama’s massive infrastructural development at the Bole SHS with 100% votes.

He said government has not only built an ultra-modern dormitory with showers, water closets and convenient places for ironing and laundry but also provided a bus for the Bole SHS while the NDC parliamentary candidate provided a poultry farm making the school one of the few that feeds its students with chicken from the school’s poultry farm.
