Dr Afriyie donates 600 dual desks to schools in Effiduase-Asokore constituency

The Member of Parliament for Effiduase-Asokore constituency, Dr Nana Ayew Afriyie has come to the aid of pupils in his constituency by donating 600 dual desks to some selected schools.

The donation was to create a conducive environment for the pupils to be able to study well and improve their academic performance.

Before the donation, pupils were seen either sitting on benches to study and write notes, a situation teachers said affected their academic performance.

Making the symbolic presentation on behalf of Dr Nana Ayew Afriyie to the selected schools, Constituency Chairman Mr Osei Adiyiah said the donation was in line with the MP’s policy to ensure good quality education delivery by making it affordable to the ordinary Ghanaian.

He noted that government alone cannot solve challenges in the educational sector and that; all stakeholders should come on board to bring hope to many children.
