Dr. Bawumia's team presents rundown of Phase I of campaign

Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the Director of Communications for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's campaign, has announced the conclusion of the first phase of the Vice President’s campaign for the 2024 presidential election.

The first phase officially kicked off on Monday, April 29, 2024 and ended on May 4, 2024.

In a release dated Sunday, May 5, 2024, Miracles Aboagye highlighted the three regions visited by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, including the Eastern, Western, and Western North Regions.

"In each of the regions, Dr. Bawumia engaged with religious leaders, traditional authorities, youth groups, and other key stakeholders, as well as conducted a rigorous door-to-door and street campaign," the statement said.

Integral to Dr. Bawumia’s campaign message was his trait of incorruptibility.

On policy, the campaign highlighted various initiatives and promises made by the Vice President to target groups, including the mining industry, persons with disabilities, and fisherfolk.

The statement noted that the Vice President will resume his campaign on Wednesday, April 8, 2024, and is expected to visit the Ahafo, Bono, and Bono East Regions for the second phase.
