After an undoubtedly successful tour of the Central Region, Vice President and Presidential Candidate of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has now stormed the Western Region, where he is already gaining significant support.
Bawumia spent the last week in the Central Region, which is considered a battleground. However, he drew incredible crowds at his engagements in the constituencies, sending a strong signal of consolidating the NPP's hold on the region in the past two presidential elections and reclaiming parliamentary control.
Dr. Bawumia kicked off his campaign tour of the Western Region on Thursday with high optimism, following the encouraging tour of the neighboring Central Region.
The success continued as Bawumia maintained momentum on Thursday, starting the Western Regional tour in Wassa East, Shama, and Mpohor. Thousands showed up at the three constituencies for his community connect on day one.
He received a warm welcome as he interacted with people in the markets and on the streets.
Friday brought a massive reception for the Vice President at his meet and greet in Ahanta West.
He then shook the grounds of Ellembele with another electrifying "community connect" before ending the day with yet another successful community connect in Jomoro Constituency, where thousands turned up.
It's only day two of Bawumia's Western Regional tour, but the momentum of the Possibility Man has been maintained.
